When I interviewed Yeongene a while back she mentioned that a couple of Rod McKuen covers would be added to the European release of Yeongene & BMX Bandits‘ Save Our Smiles. One of those covers, Ally Ally Oxen Free, is now available as one of the songs on the new, free (and legal) Birdsongs, Beesongs – Eardrums Spring Compilation 2009 Volume A. Eardrums, for those of you curious, is representing Norway as a fellow member of the Music Alliance Pact and also happens to be one of the blogs that inspired me to get into music blogging in the first place.
