Review roundup, week 7-10

Lots of interesting reviews have been posted over the last month or so. I’ve probably missed plenty, but here’s a collection of what I found in my feed reader.

The Silent Ballet has once again listened to some Korean music. In a recent review of Apollo 18‘s Blue album, the Red and Violet EPs get a mention too: Apollo 18 – [0]. And Glittering Blackness, Fall, featured on the latest The Silent Ballet compilation, had a review of their untitled EP posted yesterday: Glittering Blackness, Fall – Untitled EP.

Janet seems to appreciate Brownie Speaks‘ first album about as much as I did: Brownie Speaks 13 Month

Saharial has reviewed Kyu Won‘s first album for London Korean Links: Album Review: Kyu Won – 두 번의 겨울이 만든 이야기 – 1st jib. While better written than anything I could manage, my opinions on the album in question are pretty much the same except I did think it was kinda bland.

Over at Init_Music, refresh_daemon has written a bit about recent music collection additions, an old favorite, and music he never got around to picking up while still in print:
